About Loyola School

Loyola Elementary School, located in the southern portion of Los Altos, California, is one of seven elementary schools (Transitional Kindergarten - 6th grade) and two junior high schools (7th-8th) that make up the Los Altos School District (LASD).

In 1989 & 2023, Loyola Elementary School was selected as a California Distinguished School, with the review team praising the high caliber of classroom instruction and the strong parent participation in school. Loyola also qualified in 2004 as a finalist in the Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence as a 21st Century School of Distinction.

Loyola School inspires students to become lifelong learners and engaged members of their communities. Our staff, in partnership with families and community members, creates a safe environment where children are empowered to develop the knowledge and life skills needed to contribute in an ever-changing world.

Loyola will be a place with opportunities for students to transfer learning to life.
