Here are a few highlights I would like to share with you…

Dogs on Campus – REMINDER

As much as most of us love seeing all of our Loyola doggies, we have many children here at Loyola that are afraid of them.  As you know, my primary charge here at school is to provide a safe environment for ALL children.

With that said, dogs are not permitted on our campus at any time during the school hour of 8:15-3:15.  If you choose to bring your dog while dropping off or picking up your child(ren), you must wait off of our campus.

A sincere thank you to all of those who have understood and adhered to this policy.  Much appreciated!

A Human Ice Cream Sundae/Student For A Day

On Friday, November 9^th, immediately after the Morning Assembly, I will live up to my end of the bargain as our Walkathon pledges surpassed the goal!  I will be decorated as a Human Ice Cream Sundae.  Did someone say…Chocolate Syrup?  Hope you can join us for the fun!

In the weeks following, dates to be announced soon, I will also be a Student For A Day and spend time in classrooms learning alongside the kids! Looking forward to “going back” to Elementary School!

New Mural On Campus

With the support of our Loyola PTA, a Scout from Troop 37 and former Los Altos student, Alex Mihalko, created and painted a mural which now adorns the wall outside of our TK/Kindergarten wing.  When you are on campus, be sure to have a look!

California STEAM Symposium

Congratulations to Mrs. Choi and Ms. Grinberg as they were invited this year to present at the Annual California STEAM Symposium.  It was held on Long Beach and took place this past weekend.  The topic of their presentation was based upon the impact project they engaged Ms. Grinberg’s class in last school year. To learn more about the work, please click HERE.  Loyola is very proud of them both.  Super job from our super teachers!

Report Cards

Our first trimester report cards will be sent out electronically on Wednesday, November 14^th.  Please keep your eyes open for it to be sent to your email inbox. 

Loyola Polling Place

On Election Day, Tuesday, November 6^th, Loyola will be opened to the public as an official polling place.

DELAC(District English Learner Advisory Council) Meetings

This year’s meetings will be held on Thursdays in the iLearn Studio at the District Office from 9:00-10:30am on the following dates..
