Good afternoon Loyola families…
Where has September gone? Can you believe Monday is October 1st? Hope this finds you well.
Where would we be without the Los Altos Educational Foundation(LAEF)?
The Los Altos Educational Foundation (LAEF) funds teachers and staff for STEM, Wellness, Literacy, and Arts at our school. The Foundation’s biggest fundraiser, the Phonathon, is coming up on October 2 & 3 and we are asking for every family to participate in two ways:
First, please make sure you donate or pledge before 9/30 and save volunteers a phone call. Our goal is to increase our participation rate this year by 5% so please participate at whatever level is meaningful to your family.
Second, join Superintendent Jeff Baier, teachers and staff, LAEF Board Members and other parents at the Phonathon for some food, fun and phoning! Click here to volunteer and don’t forget to bring a friend too!
The Loyola Staff is very thankful to the LAEF and parents who support the foundation every year. Without these funds, our school would just not be the same. To support the teachers and programs in this district, I will be volunteering at the Phonathon on Tuesday, October 2nd and look forward to seeing other Loyola Lions there with me working for the cause. Thank you!
Dogs on Campus
As much as most of us love seeing all of our Loyola doggies, we have many children here at Loyola that are afraid of them. As you know, my primary charge here at school is to provide a safe environment for ALL children.
With that said, dogs are not permitted on our campus at any time during school hours. If you choose to bring your dog while dropping off or picking up your child(ren), you must wait off of our campus.
I thank you in advance for your understanding and adhering to this policy.
Have a wonderful weekend, everyone!
In service to you,
Richard Julian, Principal
