Dear Loyola families,

I have spent the past 5 days carefully observing morning drop-off and afternoon pick-up.  With that said, I have serious concerns about the safety of all of our students.

Let me preface my parking lot protocol by stating that I understand how busy we all are and how, at times, every minute in our mornings and afternoons count.  But, I need to fully protect the safety of our students.  I am confident that if you follow these protocols, both drop-off and pick-up will be fluid, efficient and most importantly, safe.

Please adhere to the following...

  • Students are NOT to be dropped off in the parking lot.
  • If you enter the parking lot, you MUST park in a designated parking spot.  Do not park along any curbs, in the aisles, etc.
  • Use Handicap Parking spots ONLY if you have the proper permit to do so.
  • If you choose to walk with your child(ren) on to and off of campus, and there are no designated parking spots available in the parking lot, you MUST park on the street.
  • If your first pick up is at 2:40, you may NOT remained parked in the loop.  This has the potential to create major delays.

It is vital that you follow these protocols to ensure the safety of all of our students.  I know I can count on you to take this situation seriously and work with with me to rectify it.

With much appreciation,

Mr. Julian
