Welcome Back!
What a fabulous first day of school! I want to sincerely thank you all for all of the warm welcome wishes to Loyola. You have made me “right at home.”
Dogs on Campus:
A reminder that no dogs are allowed on campus during school hours. This includes drop off and pick up. You may bring your dog on a leash, but must remain in the parking lot or drive through area.
Yesterday was such an exciting day for our students and staff as we had an incredible day getting to know your children. There is nothing like a campus full of smiling faces!
Today we gathered in the Multi giving me the opportunity to share a bit about myself with your children. It was a blast!
We also discussed our Behavior Expectations for students- Using “The Golden Rule, Responsibility and Respect”. We will continue to use this matrix and soon posters will be popping up all over campus to help remind students. As I explained it to students today, these expectations are designed to keep them safe, both physically safe and socially/emotionally safe. In the coming weeks, we will provide instruction for students on these behavioral expectations. Research shows that common language and expectations create an environment for children that is consistent and predictable which leads to compliance and overall safety.
Arrival Procedures
Students should arrive no earlier than 8:10 am. The first bell rings at 8:10 am which signals students are permitted to enter the campus. All of this allows for proper supervision and safety. Thank you.
