Hello Loyola families!!
We are almost there and all of us here at Loyola cannot wait for our students to arrive!
In preparation for their return to campus, I want to highlight some items that address student safety, both physical and social/emotional safety...
Parking Lot Safety: As I am sure you already do, please be extremely cautious when entering and exiting our parking lot during drop-off and pick-up. There are lots of little Lions walking around and we most surely want them safe at all times.
Dogs: If you should bring your dog(s) on campus at any time, they must be on a leash. I also ask that you bring doggie waste bags just in case they decide it is "time to go."
2:40 Dismissal: Primary students that are released at 2:40 must be picked up by that time. We are not equipped to supervise students at that time. Also, students must remain with parents, caregivers, etc. if waiting for intermediate students to be dismissed.
Student Cell Phone Use: Once students enter campus from 8:10 am on, all cell phones must be put away and not used. If students do not adhere to this expectation, their phone will be taken away for the day and parents will be contacted. Upon dismissal, students may use their cell phones but photos and videos are not permitted to be taken while on campus.
Playground Balls/Arrival: Students are asked not to bring any sort of playground balls from home. We will provide such items for students during recesses. Upon arrival, students are not permitted to play ball games on campus.
I want to sincerely thank you in advance for supporting these expectations. They are specifically designed to keep all of our students safe from the moment they arrive on campus until the moment they leave.
Warmest regards,
Mr. Julian
